Hope in God Will Prevail

Day 127 Psalm 42: 5 Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance.

Wondrous God, glorious Savior, Mighty King of All, I know that You will come and help me. You have given me Your assurance deep in my soul through the work of Your Holy Spirit. I know that there will come a time when all I am and all I have is made right. I know that there will be an end to all the hardship of this life.

I remind myself. Job 19:25-27 says it perfectly. “For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth; 26And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, That in my flesh I shall see God, 27Whom I shall see for myself, And my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!”

I will make it through these trials, these tears. I will be victorious through the Lord Jesus. His life is my life. In Him, I will have the final victory. I will praise Him once again with all of God’s people and my suffering and pain and hardships of these moments will all be done away. Hallelujah! Glory to God! Praise be magnified to God!

Through the victory of Jesus alone, Amen!

Jesus Christ brought me to Himself at a very early age. I began seeking the Lord and writing prayer journals in my early teens and have continued to grow in my knowledge and experience of prayer. I am still learning and growing in my prayer life and long to help others grow in their prayer lives as well. I am not an expert, but a practitioner who needs God to continue to teach me to pray. Prayer is both simple, yet also profound. It is deep and draws us into the depth of God, but it is also so easy and wondrous that we can cry out to God with "Abba, Father" prayers because of the work of Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. Prayer comes from God's heart, works in our hearts, and teaches us to go back to seek God's heart!
