Evil Will Suffer But Those Who Trust in the Lord will be Saved

Day 84:  Psalms 34:21-22

Psalm 34: 21 Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. 22The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

O Lord Jesus, You defeated sin and death, and the grave at the cross and proved it at the resurrection so that all the world could see Your victory. Yet this victory is only the intermediate stage of Your victory yet to come. One day every knee will bow and tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. One day, all those who refused to humble themselves under Your Almighty and perfect rule and reign will not only see the follow of their way but will admit that they deserve Your wrath and punishment. O Lord, we pray that You will deliver every one possible! Yet those who oppose You, the Triune God, and who have hurt Your people without repentance or remorse will suffer Your perfect judgment upon them.

Those who refuse to humble themselves under the Hand of God, those who refuse to kiss the Son, lest He be angry, those who will not come under Jesus’ wings, will find themselves without the warmth and protection of Christ and under the fully deserved wrath of God. Those who will not repent, confess their weakness, and sin, and need of Jesus Christ, will find themselves suffering in a Christless eternity!

But none of Your children who have trusted in You will suffer. Though their faith be as a grain of mustard seed, if it is true faith, will be blessed in the Lord forever. Those who truly trust in the Lord Jesus will be saved.

O Lord, You have saved us.

We are weak, but You are strong.

Jesus keep us from all wrong.

We’ll be satisfied as long as we walk, let us walk, close to Thee.

Amen and Amen.

Jesus Christ brought me to Himself at a very early age. I began seeking the Lord and writing prayer journals in my early teens and have continued to grow in my knowledge and experience of prayer. I am still learning and growing in my prayer life and long to help others grow in their prayer lives as well. I am not an expert, but a practitioner who needs God to continue to teach me to pray. Prayer is both simple, yet also profound. It is deep and draws us into the depth of God, but it is also so easy and wondrous that we can cry out to God with "Abba, Father" prayers because of the work of Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. Prayer comes from God's heart, works in our hearts, and teaches us to go back to seek God's heart!
