Day 3: Psalm 1:3 – 6 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does he prospers.
Let me bear fruit in season, O Lord. You have given me some fruit, some evidence of grace in my life. But Lord, please let Your Word and Your Spirit prune me that I may walk with You, love You, and live and bear even more fruit (John 15:2). Help me bear fruit to God with pure and holy motives (John 15:8). Help my children and my children’s children bear fruit to the glory of God. May our every generation love You, follow You, and serve You until You bring us safely to our heavenly home. Please, O Lord, hear and answer my prayer that I pray in Jesus name alone: That every generation and all in these generations may love, follow, serve, and be used of You forever and ever. Amen.
Psalm 1:4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. 5Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked shall perish.
Father, there will be a judgment day for those who refuse to repent of their sin and follow You. Help us have a concern for the lost, for those who have turned from following Christ (James 5:19-20). Lord, we pray for the lost, before it is too late for them. Use us to share our faith and to see many come to righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ (Dan. 12:3).
But Lord, for those who will not turn, for those who have troubled You and Your people, I pray that You will deal with their evil influence (II Tim. 4:14). O Lord, how long until You deal with the evil of those who have oppressed Your children (Revelation 6:9-10)? Lord, do not let evil men prevail, but let Your Word go forth and win the lost to Christ (II Thessalonians 3:1-2).
Lord, You know how to preserve Your people and hold the wicked for the day of judgment (II Peter 2:9). Please preserve us, protect us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one and all his influence (Matthew 6:13).
In Jesus name alone I claim it and have it by Your power. Amen.
Please pray that God would bless His people and their families including your own family that they might know more of Christ and His glory and Christ. Pray that the wicked may repent and trust Christ before it is too late!
